A message from Karen ( the President)

Hi Everyone

I'm sending the draw early this week because there have been a lot of changes to the umpiring draw. The Level One Umpire Accreditation was very successful today (thank you Petra) and we have put all the participants on games so that they can practice what they learnt while it is fresh.

Please let people know if you see their name down for umpiring.

Also, because of the very popular Susan Pratley Clinic being held this Saturday afternoon, the 12, 13 and 14 year old rep teams will not be playing in the afternoon. However, I have asked for SWR Rebels to come in and play GO Betties for a social game.

As a head-up, we have organised Margaret Corbett to conduct a Foundation Coaching Course for the Saturday after the Grand Final. This will be very beneficial for all coaches of junior teams as well as anyone thinking about coaching next year. A subsidy towards the cost will be available, thanks to Sport & Rec, so people should take advantage of it now. Mark the date in your calendar.

3 weeks to go until the semi-finals.
