Representative Netball..
It was a great first week back of junior and senior rep training last Monday and Tuesday considering the heat we endured. Everyone returned keen and ready to start a new year of rep netball for the Macleay.
Thanks to all those that attended from 11's development through to the 15yrs squads in the juniors on Monday and the 17yrs through to the Masters squads on Tuesday.
If anyone knows of any 14 or 15 year olds that have moved to the area recently or would like to come along to rep training and get involved please let them know to come along to training on Mondays 5pm to 7pm at the courts. These age groups are looking for a few more players to fill their squads.
This week for the juniors reps will be a little different for some squads.
Training starts as normal at 5pm and finished at 7pm.
Please Note..
The 11 yrs development squad will train as normal.
The 12yrs and 13yrs squads will go through their selection process.
The 14yrs and 15yrs have the week off.
Senior Rep Training
Will see the 17 yrs squad going through their selections.
With the opens and masters training as usual. Be there ready to start at 5.30pm.
If you wish to trial for the 17yrs through to the Masters teams you MUST attend training!
Looking forward to seeing you all at training.
Good luck to all those going through the selection process. Just try your best and remember above all just enjoy the experience!
Wet Weather Training Days..
Something to keep in mind is that in the case of wet weather on training days the coaches and association will make the decision wether training will go ahead on theses days and all updates will be put on Facebook as early as possible.
The decision on wether to go ahead in these cases is not something that's made lightly. Safety is the most important factor and will be made with the players well being a top priority.
In some cases the decision may not be made till right on 5pm as the weather can clear up in time for training which is why decisions are usually made as close to 5pm as possible considering we have courts designed for all weather.
Please check the Facebook page when these days occur. There will always be a committee member and/or coach at the courts though incase players show up and need to phone parents if it is called off.

After a lengthy break, representative netball training will return for the Macleay Netball Association THIS Monday February 1st at the Pam Guyer Netball Centre, Kempsey between 5pm and
All representative team squad members from 12 years through to 15 year who submitted their representative forms at the end last season must attend. The selection process will be recomencing and you need to be present. Please make sure you wear suitable training attire and joggers and bring your water bottle.

The senior representative teams will start on THIS Tuesday February 2nd from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. All those interested in being considered for selection for the 17 years, Open’s and Masters teams must attend training.

The 2016 season isn't far away with the association scheduling their registration day for Saturday March 12 at the netball centre. All age groups are covered with net set go beginners, junior competitions and a senior competition. If you would like to get involved, keep fit and build some long time friendships Macleay Netball is the answer.
